May is wrapping up and here’s a quick update from our Links That Feed journey.

We built 168 backlinks for our clients and partners this month. And for every link, we served 168 bowls of curd to stray dogs and people in need.

The heat is unforgiving right now. But something as small as a curd bowl brings real comfort.

May Highlights

168 backlinks built for our clients
168 bowls of curd distributed
7 new areas explored for feeding
Struggled to arrange curd in bulk this time
Shared food with stray dogs and people who needed it
Captured real, raw moments from the streets (some of the photos below)

Feeding Experience This Month

This month tested us.

We went to D-Mart to buy curd, like always. Shelves were empty. We hopped across different stores, markets, and dairy outlets. Hours passed, but quitting wasn’t an option. We finally managed to get enough curd.

But finding dogs was harder this time. The heat had forced many to hide away.

Some stayed curled up in the shade, too weak to move. A few came running when they saw us, wagging tails and hopeful eyes.

We made sure not a single bowl went to waste. Wherever we couldn’t find dogs, we shared the curd with people on the streets. Simple, cooling food. Sometimes, that’s all someone needs to survive the day.

A few moments captured from the day

The Challenges We Faced

Couldn’t find curd in bulk at regular stores
Lost a lot of time arranging supplies
Extreme heat made dogs harder to spot
Shared curd with struggling people where dogs weren’t around

What’s Next

We’ll plan smarter for June
Buy curd well in advance
Do drives early morning or evening when it’s cooler
Set up water bowls in high-risk areas
Capture more photos, stories, and smiles to share with you

Thank You for Being Part of This

Each backlink we build grows a business
Each bowl of food brings comfort to the streets

Despite the challenges, the day ended well. Our team shared a meal together, laughed, and had a fun bowling competition to unwind.
