Jarvi

01 / The starting point

A newer brand. An established shortlist.

Jarvi was established in France and targeting Tier 1 markets. The broad “best ATS for recruitment agencies” category was crowded with familiar vendors.

The campaign team reports that Jarvi had not appeared in the BOFU AI queries checked before the campaign, and had not previously run an AI-visibility initiative.

The question wasn’t just “How do we get a link?”

It was “Where can Jarvi become a relevant option while buyers are deciding?”

STRATEGY 1

Fit the agency niche.

“Which ATS suits an agency like mine?”

STRATEGY 2

Support the comparison.

“What are my alternatives, and which tool should I choose?”

STRATEGY 3

Join existing shortlists.

“Which resources are buyers and AI systems already finding?”

02 / Strategy 1 · Niche-specific listicles

Keep the buying intent.
Make the audience more specific.

We didn’t make early progress depend entirely on the broad ATS category. We researched recruitment specialisms, then developed software-selection content around those audiences.

BUYING INTENT

Still choosing software.

A niche modifier keeps the query focused on evaluating ATS options.

BUYER CONTEXT

A more specific need.

A legal recruiter and a sales staffing agency may evaluate tools differently.

PUBLISHER FIT

A relevant place to appear.

Sector-specific angles opened routes into relevant niche publications.

Read the evidence in layers: publisher-page ranking, Jarvi mention, source-panel inclusion, and direct citation. They are different outcomes. Perplexity’s real estate example is included because it shows a campaign source without a Jarvi mention in the answer.

03 / Strategy 2 · Alternatives + A vs B

From a niche shortlist
to a product decision.

Niche listicles answer “What fits my agency?” Alternatives and comparisons meet the next question: “What else should I consider, and how do these tools compare?”

ALTERNATIVES

Explore a replacement.

Content for buyers considering other options alongside a known recruitment platform.

A VS B

Compare named products.

Side-by-side evaluation around specific needs and use cases.

The team also observed these query types during research into AI query fan-out: related searches an AI system may explore while constructing an answer.

The screenshots below test the comparison directly. They do not demonstrate fan-out itself. Conversion benchmarks from other campaigns are not presented as Jarvi results.
